We had a great time in Maui this year.  Saw whales, played on the beach and in the pool.  The road to Hana got another victim as Nick threw up on the way (perfectly by the way, all in a barf bag after he warned us).  But the highlight of the trip was the zip line.  Here are some pictures from Hawaii.

This first ones are from zipline.  Mom and Dad are hanging loose while the kids are doing the scorpion.

We took the kids to a Suns game (they got hammered) but the we had fun.  We sat in the 3rd row, like the real down by the court third row.  Got free food and beer (well Blue Moon but whatever) as well.  At the end of the game they let the kids on the court to shoot a basket.

I fell off the wagon a bit on the posts last year.  I will do better, I promise.  Happy New Year to everyone.

From the Pirate and Wolverine

We just got back from our trip to California.  We went to San Diego first, visited Sea World, the beach and the hotel pool (oh and a brewery or two).  We had a great time except the resulting sunburn on Dad for the rest of the trip (tip: don't forget to sunscreen your back).

Then we drove up to LA and went to Disney for 4 days  Each day we had a great time and ended up very tired.  On Friday we had a long day at Disneyland and then came home and went swimming for 2.5hrs, well the kids did anyway.  A couple of nice girls played with them and they all had a great time.

We are now back and the kids are at Grandma's for a couple days (thanks Grandma).
