Nick got to take his first ride in his new car seat. Notice how he knows it is his new throne as he presents his hand to be kissed. Bow down mister.

So the little guy is learning things well these days.

Good - A couple days ago he began to clap. He has done it multiple times now so I think he knows what he is doing, very cute by the way.

Bad - Last week he figured out how to open the gates to his jail. We generally leave the gates open with the gate resting closed but not locked in. He now opens the door, plays with it for a minute and then continues on to investigate that new world beyond the fences.

and....

Gross - He was a bit whiny and got hold of a paper and started eating it (in the car of course). So I go to get the paper out and what else do I find? A leaf.. thats right a leaf from school, wonder how long that was there and how bad it tasted at that point.

We will get them once they are painted. Nick enjoyed stress testing the chair by pounding on it.

Soon he will be walking without this, scary...

Nick's first hiking attempt of Squaw Peak. It also happened to be the first time Dad lugged someone else to the top. He enjoyed himself all the way to the top, watching the hikers and playing with his water in the sippy cup. He then took a nap on the way down due to all the strenous work he had done on the way up.

A few days late but thanks to my Mom we got to eat some Carbone's Pizza from MN.
