Nick's first professional haircut (with certificate to prove it). He was very good in the chair and looks like a big boy (see album on the right side).

Nick had an eye exam this Morning. It is part of the InfantSee program where children under 1yr old get free eye exams. The idea is to build a base for the doctors to say how children's eyes develop (like the docs are able to do for developmental issues). Anyway, he got two big thumbs up, everything looks good.

Mom had to work a lot of hours the previous week so Nick and I dropped off dinner. Below is a picture showing Nick helping Mom run the numbers.

I took Jarod to Vegas for the weekend last weekend. We stayed at the Luxor but spent most of the time roaming around. He liked Caeser's Palace the most, I like the Bellagio my self. Below is a picture of the Bellagio and water show taken with my iPhone. Jarod is off to Tucson to go to the UofA for college, good luck to him (except for Football).

Here is a video of Nick walking. Only a short distance but he can go pretty much as far as he wants. I will make sure to get a nice long walk on video but today he was only interested in a short walk.

He started doing steps last week and this past weekend he really started to go more then a couple steps. By Tuesday he is going all over the place.

His new toy, he got quite worked up with it, was sweating when we finally pulled him away from it.

We are stll working on determining exactly how tall we are.

Nick playing Indian. Happy 4th of July. As it was 116F today, I hope you spent it in AC as we did. Video was from a cellphone camera so not so hot but it will do.

Well today is the day that we call First Step. He has maybe taken a couple half-uncoordinated steps in the last couple days but today he took a nice big step. And then fell down. But he did take the step so we will give him the credit. He can walk while holding only one of our hands now, full on walking is only a short time away.

Teeth count - 7
Top four teeth, bottom two middle and one to his left on the bottom. I think even more on the top are coming soon though.
