Here is young Nicholas getting a lesson in reality. First we have the slave driver (that would be Miss Liz in the upper right) using the children, which should be against child labor laws, for the heavy lifting. Learn well Nick, it doesn't get any easier. Lets not think about what is in the bag.

Well, not a whole lot going on at the Andresen clan these days. Dad is finally getting over some kind of bug/allergy business that has been hanging around for way to long. Mom is doing good, getting used to playing soccer (and the accompnaying sore muscles). Nick is doing great, getting so big and learning a lot.

He can say so many words these days and can repeat words back very well too. Some of the words he says: No (first and most important for him), More (along with the sign language motion incase his slow parents don't understand), hot (every cooked food he gets is hot and must be cooled by blowing on it), Wawa (or water which he can spy from a mile away), Duck and quack quack (his most favorite animal), Cow and Moo (very cute), Plane (some how he never misses one), Pig (not quite getting the oink oink yet), Baby, cracker, etc... I could go on but those are the important ones for Nick. He can do puzzles and legos as well. He is getting so big, mom and dad can't believe it!

Hopefully he won't be in a boy band or anything but he was pretty good at playing the drums. Mom showed him how to wear it and he enjoyed it (for a few minutes anyway).

It really works your core muscles. That is what Nick claims anyway.

Happy New Years Day, 2008. We stayed busy today by going to the mall where Nick got to play with the interactive game pad they have. Lots of short little games that interact with the players. He loved it. We also went to the zoo and visited the animals. Lots to see and do (and wear little ones out too).

We all went to California to visit Jen's Godparents and Sharon and Howard. It was a good visit and they got to meet Nick and visit since we haven't seen them for a few years. I even got to eat a $4 cupcake, it was pretty good. Here is a picture from my phone of Nick on a break from lunch.
