Yea so we are very imaginative parents. We went to the Zoo again today, did basically the same thing as the day before, but we all had fun the last time and we did again today.

Well, not everyone is cut out for photography. The nice gentleman who took this picture totally didn't get the elephant in it (look close, it is there).

A gorgeous day in Phoenix so we went to the Zoo. Specific goals this time was to go to the petting zoo and the water play park. Both were accomplished with varying degrees of success. The petting zoo went great, Nick had a great time petting the goats. Next was the water park where he didn't do so well. The fountains at the zoo work better for older kids since they turn on with high pressure and then go away quick. By the time Nick got close they turned off. He did enjoy it and got splashed a few times. On the way out we of course did the carousel ride.

Nick did very well in the procedure. Both tear ducts were blocked so it was good we did it. He cried for about 10min but calmed down once he was with it again. The whole procedure took about 15minutes.

Dad is wearing a huge boot but needs to get an MRI to make sure there is no tendon tear. I don't think there is but better safe then sorry.

Now back to watching Shrek.

Well this is the week of the big (hopefully small and routine) procedure to open up the tear duct of young Nicholas. It is early in the morning on Tuesday with no breakfast or water, hopefully that doesn't bother him so much. They need to put him under so he isn't thrashing about while they mess with his eye. It will be easy and quick.

To help matters, this Saturday while playing soccer, Dad jacked up his ankle. Going to try and see a doc on Monday, I predict a high ankle sprain. Mom got me a brace which helps but if I twist or step wrong I get a nice shooting pain.

Not much happening besides that. Jarod finished his first year of college so I will have to take him out to eat to celebrate (and find out his grades!).

ps. Speedo on the Miata had always been whacked and finally broke a week or two ago, I replaced it this weekend and works like a champ.

It is now officially dangerous to mention anything around Nick that he may enjoy that you don't want him to have. Some cupcakes lived for 3 days before we slipped and said cupcakes in his presence. That was all it took.

Now, back to business.

Nick has a large following of ducks at his lake. He makes sure they are well feed with Cheerios and in return he hopes that one day they will kiss his hand.

Nick got his first car this past weekend. He loves it, so much in fact we may need to hid it since he wants to ride in it every morning when we are heading to daycare. He can drive the car by doing his Fred Flinstone impressonation, though he is still working on it.

Here is Nick's toddler class picture. The question is do I know all the names, and the answer to that is no. The two teachers from left to right is Miss Liz and Miss Lori. Nick is there on the far right.

Nick got himself some new wheels. A Burley trailer for our bikes so he can tag along and enjoy a scenic ride through the countryside (err, neighborhood). We got it on Friday and took it out this morning for a trip to Jack in the Box (yea I know but we wanted it... so there).

We went to the Greek food festival today at Tempe beach park. A little warm but not to bad. Herb and Bev joined us and all the pictures of us at the event are courtesy of Bev, Thanks Bev. Only a little time went to eating, the rest went to entertaining the young Nikoli, seen below in a bouncy house.
