First of all, the apples were mine and Nick decided to share... We all know how that goes and then he didn't even eat the apple skins, just lined them up all nice on the side by Minnie. Thanks Nick.

Earlier this week was the Spring Fling at Bright Horizons. Nick had an easter egg hunt, Adam got to lounge outside and Mom and Dad got to eat lunch with Nick. We had a wonderful meal of turkey dogs and fruit, hmmm yummy... Nick found some candy in the eggs he picked up so that pretty much made his day, Mom and Dad joining for lunch was pretty cool too but nothing matched his introduction to Tootsie Rolls.

Today was Luke Day at Luke Air force base, called Thunder in the Desert. It is a bit different to go with little ones, I think Nick's favorite part was going to the Kids Zone which had some bouncy houses. He got a bit scared at the start of the F22 show but otherwise did fantastic. Adam did well too but was bored and slept a lot :O
The highlight of the show was definitely the F22, what a crazy plane. Stops mid air, turns and roars away, nuts! I tried to get a video and it is okay but would rather have been snapping pictures with the D70, oh well, next time.

Here is a nice picture of the boys, note that Nick is 2.5 yrs old and Adam is almost 3months.

Leave me alone!
How Nick and Dad went to get his haircut? Miata style! Nick didn't want to go with the top down but did enjoy being able to reach outside the window to feel the wind. Somehow he was concerned about his braclet (bouncy house) from coming off but kept sticking his fingers out.
First ride in the Miata.
Mom took a cute picture of the boys this weekend, here it is for your enjoyment. Great picture of Adam while Nick is being, well, Nick.
Ying and Yang
This weekend was the warm up for next weekend. There will be the Ostrich Festival, a birthday party, Suns game, Mira's wedding, who knows what else. This weekend Nick went to Drew's bday party (friend from school) and had a great time. Nick also got a haircut (and a sucker for doing a good job). Good weekend overall.
The first one is bothering Nick, he is always hiding in the bathroom or laundry room. We assure him that we don't like monsters so we don't let them in the house but so far he isn't buying it. We will see how long this lasts :P
Our second monster is Adam. He had his 2 month doctor visit today and the doc walked into the room and said "wow, you are a monster." And she isn't lying, his growth percentile is at or above 90% for all three criteria.
Head - 42cm - 90%
Weight - 14lbs 2oz - 95%
Length - 25" - 97%
As Nick and Dad would say, wow mama!
At daycare they have a program called Play Sports where the kids learn to play different sports. I haven't actually seen what they do and Nick just says he has fun but not much else. So it was fun to see some pictures they took.

Having fun

Emily's escape from the harsh New England winter is over and she is on her way back to the icey wasteland of Portsmouth. We enjoyed her visit out to sunny AZ. Nick enjoyed her company as well which included a trip to the zoo and some tent time. Till next time. For the second picture, Nick is holding a 2 month old Adam (he is a monster!).

This last Friday was the anniversary party at Bright Horizons. Nick had trouble focusing the whole day as all he could think of was that dang Bouncy House. During outside time he would stand and stare at the bouncer and not play, just stare. So he was pretty happy when I showed up and he could jump (for ohh 45min straight). They also had some cake and a freak snow storm that dropped some snow at the facility. Below are the boys doing what they do best, in snow.
Oh Adam, you are so silly.
