I just got this app for the iPhone called Colorsplash. You take any picture (or use the camera to take a new picture) and turn some part of it to grayscale and keep some. I wasn't sure how good it would turn out and how hard it would be but it is pretty and the results are pretty nice.

Happy Dads day to all you Dads out there. The boys made me some presents at school, a hand print in concrete from Nick and a picture on a cd from Adam. They are wonderful boys, especially wonderful today since they are sleeping at 7:30 still.

The boys visited Grandma Taylor today to check out the new pool. The pool is pretty nice and Nick enjoyed it (twice). Nick can get around in the pool with his ring and Grandma bought a little net thing which worked good too, have to see if the store has some more. Also on tap was a remote control boat that Grandpa brought out. Nick really liked that and got to drive it himself, okay so he drove in a circle around the pool, but he enjoyed the heck out of it. Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for a fun day and Happy Dad's day to Bob.

Jen is off in San Francisco enjoying the fine chinese cuisine while the boys are home with the Honey Nut Cheerios, not a bad deal if you ask Dad. So far so good, the boys have been very good and sleeping pretty well which is all I can ask. We are off to Grandma Taylors today for some grilling and swimming.

Jen won us some tickets to the Dbacks and VIP access to go down on the field after the game for a concert by Lifehouse.  We showed up late to the game since we find it difficult to make it through a whole baseball game but we saw most of the action, we lost though.  After the game we hit the field for some music.  It was pretty cool and we enjoyed it.

Sunday afternoon we weighed him and he was 19.8lbs.

While Dad is down with a cold Jen and Nick had an art project to do for school. They chose to do our trip to Disneyland and it turned out great.

This morning at school Nick peed standing up.  Though it was not the first time (Ms. Barb tought him a little while ago), it was the first time I saw it.  I was getting him set to sit on the pot and he said "Nooooo, I pee like a big boy" and proceeded to step up and pee, right on target!

He also spent the night with underwear on (don't call them undies unless you want trouble with him) and no accidents.  While we are far from complete on potty training, Nick has exceeded all of my wildest hopes.
