The boys went to visit the family at Herb and Bevs. We got to visit with Grandma and Herb and Bev for the afternoon (along with some nice Russian Imperial Stout and Spaten Oktoberfest). Adam is scooting around on his butt and getting into all sorts of mischief. Nick was really good and got a balsa wood airplane from Bev, lots of fun with that. Thanks to the fam for the visit and thanks to the boys for being very good. Thanks to Herb for the Spaten.

Jen took Nick to the Kids Faire today. Lots of stuff but they all costed money so it wasn't a cheap trip. That said, pretty cool that Nick wanted to do the Bungy Jump aparatus (twice). His jumps were pretty small but the operator got him going pretty high and he liked it. There were bouncers and some characters there as well (see below).

Here is my favorite part of the trip to Buffalo. Right under a waterfall, pretty cool.

We just got back from our trip to Buffalo to visit the Copelands. Below is a picture of the 3 +1 at Niagra falls. We went to Canada to see the falls so Nick has been to 2 other countries and Adam visited his first one outside the US. We even got some Niagra Falls Hard Rock shirts for the boys.

My favorite part of the trip (though it was overall excellent) was the Cave of the Winds at Niagram Falls. The Cave / Winds part is just a name, actually it is an elevator down to the bottom of American Falls and a walkway that puts you right at the bottom. It is awesome and definitely a must do. Due to complications Jen and Liz went later and they enjoyed it too.

Among many things we did was to go to the Anchor Bar which is where the Buffalo Wing was born. It did not dissapoint (though it was closed on Labor Day which did dissapoint). Below is the fam at the Anchor Bar.

Nick and Maddie had a great time playing together and the old people enjoyed hanging out and talking. Adam had a good time though his wake up time kept getting earlier and earlier with 4am being the last day. Hopefully he sleeps good tonight. Another highlight of the trip was the Labor Day party that Matt's mom puts together. None other then a pot of chilli being cooked in a keg over an outdoor fire, doesn't get much better then that.

Thanks to Matt and Liz for the hospitality and looking forward to a visit from Maddie sometime so the new best friends can play together. Pictures and Videos to follow shortly, back to work tomorrow for a short week.
