Lots or stuff going on this past weekend. First we had Maya's birthday at Chuck E Cheese, thankfully the pizza is much better then in the past. Nick and Adam both had a great time and it was good to see Nick's old friends from BH. After that Jen's friends got here for the 1/2 Marathon and girls time. Danielle, Sarah and Emily all came out to enjoy the weather. After the young ladies got their race packages we all went for a hike. Turned out a little more effort than we wanted but a fun endeavor nonetheless.

Nick played his first soccer game and scored 3 goals and a few blocks. He had a great time and there were only a few tears so all in all a great time. I am the coach so god help these poor kids.

Then there was the big race, Dad did well with a 1/2 marathon time of 2:14:14 and the girls enjoyed their run / walk together. A big thanks to Emily for watching the kiddos and baking a cake for Adam and Dad's belated bday. A day later we are a little sore but not nearly as bad as I thought I would be.
To top the weekend off it was extended a day by MLK day. So Nick and Dad spent the day at the zoo and hole in the rock. We had so much fun that Nick actually napped in the car to pick up Adam. A great weekend, and soon we welcome Waipu and Waigong.
