Well wasn't this a busy weekend. We started strong and wished Mom a happy vacation on her quest to bring Kate the Great home from Portsmouth. After work I got the boys and we got ready for a picnic.
We dusted the ol' wagon off and went to the close park. The boys had some ham lunchables and as Mom noticed from a picture they went straight for the Oreo cookies instead of the ham and crackers. Oh well, boys will be boys and they both ate most of the dinner. A bit of playing and homebound we went.
On Saturday we went to Costco for lunch and then back home to visit with the family. Grandma, Granpa, Herb and Bev all came over. Grandma brought over her Snow cone maker and it was a hit. In fact one time Adam did it himself. He just showed up with an empty cup and pushed on the top (like he saw Nick do) and put his cup underneath and he was good to go. Good job Adam. It was an early night for everyone on Saturday.
On Sunday we went to the Aquarium and the m
all to do the rides. The aquarium is pretty good, especially considering the size they had to work with. The boys prefer the jungle gym at the end though, Dad likes the Ray tank himself. After that we went home and baked a cake so we could have it at the park. This time we had a picnic at the bigger park. After a couple of minutes of eating both the boys litterally sprinted to the playground. I had to go get them to come back and finish the food... Crazy kids. Overall a great weekend and now I can go to work and rest a bit.
